80s 90s 2000s 2010s: The Ultimate R&B Family Battle

By @24Slayton

We put it to the test to see if Tim’s 80s R&B Playlist Was A CHEAT CODE in this ultimate family music battle! Check out the new episode where we go head-to-head to decide which decade truly produced the best R&B hits. We turned the studio into a war zone with Tim representing the 80s, bringing out heavy hitters like Prince, Michael Jackson, and Whitney Houston that had the judges feeling nostalgic. It honestly felt like he was playing with a stacked deck.

Jordan stepped up to represent the 2000s with bangers from Beyonce and Usher, while Kiki defended the 2010s and 2020s with vibes from Frank Ocean and Miguel. Arlin tried to hold it down for the 90s with classics from Ginuwine and Aaliyah, but the competition was stiff. This is peak family life right here—arguing over who has the better taste in music while Chris and Jasmine try to pick a winner without hurting anyone’s feelings (too much). It gets chaotic, loud, and hilarious as we realize that going up against the King of Pop might have been a mistake.

Let us know in the comments which era you think actually won this draft. Did the 80s steal the show, or do the 90s and 2000s deserve more love? Like, Subscribe, and comment to tell us your favorite R&B track of all time!

I Stopped Taking The Game Serious (And Won) Monte Montality 2

By @24Slayton

In this video, we break down how I Stopped Taking The Game Serious (And Won) and why a relaxed mindset is the secret weapon you need in esports. Welcome back to 24 Sllayton! Dude, we have a special guest in the chair today. My buddy Monty is here to educate us on the world of competitive Smash Bros and his journey through the SoCal rankings.

We talk about the glory days of grinding with Ty Ranks, hitting that top 20 status, and the reality of dealing with over 80 character matchups in Ultimate. Monty spills the tea on why you need to step out of your comfort zone and stop just playing your friends if you want to actually get good. There is a huge debate on how to practice, so we get into the nitty-gritty of Elite Smash, private Discord servers, and why playing randoms online might actually be better than sticking to your local crew.

Jordan brings the old-school offline perspective while Monty breaks down how the new gen does it to handle lag and learn specific flows. We also discuss the mental game and how Monty finally beat Ouch at Port Priority by changing his head game. We chat about what he wishes his mom understood about the pro gaming career, the importance of family support, and how the pressure of the stage translates to real-life skills like engineering and handling stress.

It’s all about having fun and not sweating the small stuff. Check out the new episode to hear the full story and get some pro advice on leveling up your life and your gameplay. Don’t forget to Like, Subscribe, and comment to let us know what you think about the current state of the Smash scene!
